Kazmi Carpets
Six checkpoints between a fleece and your floor. None of them can be hurried, which is the whole point.
Fleece is sorted by hand for staple length and lustre. Short, brittle wool is set aside — it never holds a knot well enough to last a generation.
Patterns are drawn onto squared cartoons, either from the traditional archive or adapted to a customer’s room, colours and furniture.
The weaving families we work with tie each knot on vertical looms. A large piece can take a season; the pace is what makes the difference.
The pile is clipped level, then the carpet is washed, stretched and dried flat so it lies true on any floor.
Held against daylight, every carpet is checked for even knotting, dye consistency and square edges before it is priced.
Rolled, wrapped and delivered across Pakistan — or laid out in your room by us if you are in Quetta.
